Brady Good Hope Hosts Greater Milwaukee Safety Council Presentation on Lockout-Tagout

On Tuesday, February 20, Brady hosted a presentation in the Blue Glass Cafe by Dean Kelley, an Attorney with the Milwaukee law firm Ogletree Deakins.  The presentation's topic centered around the important periodic inspection aspect of this OSHA regulation.
Attendees of the presentation included companies such as Johnson Controls, Uline, Brenntag, Athea Labs, and Gehl Foods.  A number of Brady staff, representing our product management, marketing, field engineering, and facility compliance areas, were on hand to welcome the attendees and strike up casual conversations on the attendees' challenges regarding the LOTO rules.  The attendees not only came away with a better understanding of the periodic audit sections of the rules, but also gained ideas on some effective and efficient ways to achieve the requirements.
The Mission of the Greater Milwaukee Safety Council (GMSC) includes the goals of promoting occupational safety and health, in part by focusing on providing safety and health education to members as a key component of reducing injuries, illness, and fatalities in the workplace.
